Guwahati: In a major haul, 4,225 methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 21,12,500/- were recovered earlier today by Assam Rifles in a Mizoram-Myanmar border Tiau kawn.
The operation was carried out by a team of Assam Rifles personnel from Champhai district based on specific information.
The Customs Department of Champhai has seized the contraband items on 18 December 2021 for further legal proceedings.
