GUWAHATI, Feb 20: Social media personality Samay Raina addressed the Ranveer Allahbadia controversy in his latest live show at the Myer Horowitz Theater in Edmonton, Canada. The comedian, performing his first show ever since the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, was quoted as saying by a Facebook user named Shubham Dutta who attended the show.
Dutta posted an emotional note on Facebook titled “The Show Must Go On…” and shared his experience of attending Raina’s show.
“Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself),” Livemint reported, quoting from the post by Dutta who, in turn, quoted Raina as saying in the show.
Raina was said to be in his quirky best as he thanked the audience for paying for the tickets.
Thanks for paying my lawyer’s fees,” Dutta mentioned Raina as saying in his Facebook post.
Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia and three others social media influencers have been facing a lot of criticism over comments made by Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, in the podcaster which resulted in lodging of FIRs against them in Mumbai, Guwahati and at several other places.
