GUWAHATI, Jan 9: Security forces, while launching search operations and area domination in fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts, made another notable seizure of arms and ammunition.
The arms and ammunition were recovered from Kangpokpi district.
A 5.56 Heckler & Koch G3 Rifle with Magazine, a .32 Pistol with Magazine, a 9 mm Pistol with Magazine, 10 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, a Single Barrel Rifle and two Tube launchers were recovered from Saheibung peak, Zero point-Kotzim Road under New Keithelmanbi Police Station in Kangpokpi district.
