GUWAHATI, Jan 1: Manipur Police arrested an active member of the KCP (PWG) outfit from Mantripukhri Bazar near Bangali crossing in Manipur’s Imphal East District.
The arrested militant has been identified as Irom Basker Singh (30).
Police said he was involved in extortion activities and targeted the general people, businessmen and other people.
Police recovered a 9mm pistol with a magazine loaded with three rounds of live ammunition, a mobile handset, an ATM card, two money receipts of KCP (PWG), a two-wheeler, Rs 500 cash along with other incriminating articles.
