Meet the winners of VLCC Femina Miss India 2020

GUWAHATI:  Manasa Varanasi, an engineer by profession from Telangana, on Wednesday at the Grand Finale held at Hyatt Regency Mumbai was crowned the winner of VLCC Femina Miss India World 2020.While Manika Sheokand from Haryana was declared VLCC Femina Miss Grand India 2020 and Uttar Pradesh’s Manya Singh was crowned VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 – runner-up.

The jury panel had 5 jury members, Neha Dhupia, Pulkit Samrat, Chitrangada Singh, and renowned designers Falguni and Shane Peacock.

The grand finale will be telecast on 28 February on Colors TV channel.

Manasa Varanasi – Miss India World 2020 and VLCC Femina Miss India Telangana 2020

Born in the heart of Hyderabad, Manasa has spent the past 8 years living and growing with the city.
It’s the memories attached to this place that give her a sense of belonging, a feeling of home.
She is currently working as a financial information exchange analyst and enjoys exploring the world of finance with her adored teammates.

Her interests are diverse – ranging from books, music, yoga and dreamy skies. She takes it upon herself to observe things that usually go unnoticed and this helps her truly live in the moment. While growing up, she was a shy child and instead preferred to express herself through Bharatnatyam and Sangeetam.

These art forms, coupled with her volunteering experiences have taught her the most important lessons on curiosity and courage. In order to achieve anything, you need to have the courage to ask for it- and by being here, she’s embracing her courage to take this chance and make something extraordinary of it.

 

 

 

Manika Sheokand – VLCC Femina Miss Grand India 2020  and VLCC Femina Miss India Haryana 2020

 

 

Representing Haryana, Manika has always been a charming and captivating girl-next-door.
An extremely qualified and educated chemical engineer, she decided to chase her passion and create a distinct identity for herself.

Even at college, she was a brilliant event organizer and orator.
Being a National level netball player, her fitness and vivacity is unmatched.
A crusader by heart, she chose to lead the climate change division at her company. With the unrelenting attitude, she believes she can definitely achieve everything she aspires for.

 

 


Manya Omprakash Singh – VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 – runner-up and VLCC Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh 2020


Manya was born in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh- the land chosen by the Gods for their incarnation.
She has imbibed the same value of unconditional love and respect for people irrespective of their background as the many folklores of her state.
She believes that education is the strongest weapon one can have with themselves at all times.

Keeping this in mind, she is now preparing for further education in Management studies.
Doted on by her mother, she has won the Best Student award during her HSC. She has struggled a lot in life till date, from not being able to pay her school fees, not being able to afford books and being neglected by her classmates for being an auto driver’s daughter.

She was called “not good-looking” and was disregarded by others for not being able to speak fluently like others. However, it was this very difficult time in her life that helped her and pushed her towards her passion to work harder.
Her journey is an inspiration to everyone because she is someone who has very humble roots, but that doesn’t stop her from making her way to achieving her dream and writing her own destiny.
