GUWAHATI, Oct 15: Election dates for the upcoming assembly polls in Maharashtra and Jharkhand will be announced today, Election Commission of India stated in a release today.
The poll commission said the election dates for the two States will be announced at 3:30 pm today.
While the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) and the BJP is in power in Maharashtra, the BJP is putting its best foot forward to wrest Jharkhand from the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).
