GUWAHATI, Feb 21: The Cyber Cell of Maharashtra Police has summoned actor Rakhi Sawant to appear before it on February 27. The actor has been summoned to record her statement in connection with a case against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia following his controversial comments made at the ‘India’s Got Latent’ show.
Besides Sawant, YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani have also been summoned to appear before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell and record their statements on February 24.
Meanwhile, comedian Samay Raina, whose online show ‘India’s Got Latent’ triggered the controversy following Allahbadia’s outgagious and vulgar remarks with sexual connotations has also been summoned but requested an extension until March 17 following his United States tour.
