GUWAHATI, Feb 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today arrived at Prayagraj to take part in Maha Kumbh 2025 and took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam.
After his arrival, he along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a boat ride from Areal Ghat to the Sangam where he took the holy bath.
The Prime Minister was seen performing puja in the river as priests chanted mantras.

PM Modi is also expected to visit and offer prayers at a Hanuman temple.
Meanwhile, security was beefed up in Prayagraj for Prime Minister Modi’s visit. A multi-layered security bandobast is already in place as authorities have estimated over 45 crore people to visit the event.
The Maha Kumbh 2025, which began on January 13, will run until Maha Shivratri on February 26.
Reports say quoting the Uttar Pradesh government that around 38 crore devotees, including lakhs of foreign pilgrims, have already visited Prayagraj for the event.
