Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Amarsing Tisso has won from Assam’s Diphu seat.
Amarsing Tisso has won by a margin of 1,47,603 votes.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI) website, Tisso received a total of 3,34,620 votes. While an independent candidate J.I. Kathar secured 1,87,017 votes.
Congress’ Joy Ram Engleng finished third by securing 1,24,019 votes.
