An estimated 75 per cent of the 81,77,207 voters exercised their franchise on Tuesday during the third phase of polling of the Lok Sabha Election in Assam.
Around 75 per cent votes were cast in the four Lok Sabha constituencies of Guwahati, Barpeta, Dhubri and Kokrajhar in Assam till 5 pm on Tuesday.
Guwahati recorded a turnout of 73 per cent, followed by 74 per cent in Barpeta, 78 per cent in Dhubri and 73 per cent in Kokrajha
The polling, which began at 7 am, concluded at 5 pm today.
