GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said the government is not mulling to impose a lockdown as the COVID-19 situation is still under control.
The Assam health minister added that the government will step up precautionary measures at the airports and railway stations.
“Situation is under control in Assam. We are getting 50-70 cases daily that too are in the airports and railway stations. There are not many cases in the state. So, there is no need to worry.
