GUWAHATI: Leading Hindi daily ‘Dainik Jagran’ has confused former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi with former Assam Assembly speaker Pranab Kumar Gogoi who passed away on Monday night.
In its story on the death of Congress legislator Pranab Gogoi, Jagran has put Tarun Gogoi’s photo instead of Pranab Gogoi on its website.
Surprisingly the news portal has embedded Tweets of All India Mahila Congress president Sushmita Dev and Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Borah with an image of Pranab Kumar Gogoi.
