Kolkata Road Mishap: Bodies of four youths brought home, cremated

The bodies of the four youths who were killed in a road accident near Kolkata in West Bengal were brought to Guwahati today (Aug 30) morning and were then taken to their village in Mukalmua in Nalbari district.

Rahul Ali, Mujammar Ali, Tariqul Islam and Chand Mohammad, all residents of Mukalmua, died after the car they were travelling in hit an oil tanker. The drive of the car was also killed in the accident.

The bodies were later cremated amid emotional scenes.

On the other hand, the fifth youth from Mukalmua — who was also part of the group that had gone to Kolkata for the vacation — was seriously injured in the accident.
