Guwahati: Assam Boys Pair(men under 21) team clinched Gold in the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games in Guwahati on Saturday.
Jharkhand and Bihar Chandigarh teams won the Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal along with Lakhya Konwar, General Secretary of Assam Olympic Association presented the medals to the winners of the Boys Lawn bowl event.
On the other hand, Assam(women under 21) girls four-team bagged the Gold medal in the Lawn Bowl event on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Jharkhand team won the Silver medal and the Bihar West Bengal team bagged the Bronze medal.
Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, presented the medals to the winners of the Girls Lawn Bowl event.
The Lawn Bowl event was held at Sarusajai Sports Complex, Guwahati on Saturday.
