Kaziranga free from clutches of Congress and its cronies: PM Modi in Assam

GUWAHATI: Addressing an election rally at Bihpuria in poll-bound Assam, prime minister Narendra Modi took a jibe at the Congress for trying to destroy the identity of the state.

“Assam’s pride – Kaziranga has been freed from the clutches of Congress and its cronies. Indo-Bangla Border in Dhubri is now sealed, to tackle illegal infiltrators,” Modi said.

The prime minister also claimed that Satras and Namghars which were captured illegal immigrants during Congress rule are now free from encroachments.

“Today, Congress’s hand is with those who are set to destroy the identity of Assam. Congress can do anything for votes. They can stand with anyone and can even betray anyone,” Modi said further.
