Guwahati: Kamrup (Metropolitan) district has registered the highest COVID-19 cases in Assam. So Far, the district has recorded 145 COVID-19 positive cases which is followed by Golaghat with 140 cases. Hojai district is at the third position with 109 positive cases.
Majuli is at the bottom of the list with only one COVID-19 case. The numbers of cases in other districts are—Nagaon (40), Cachar (32), Kamrup (30), Nalbari (22), Morigaon (31), Sonitpur (14), Karimganj (34), Jorhat (14), Dhubri (13), Hailakandi (16), Tinsukia (9), Goalpara (16), Dima Hasao (7), West Karbi Anglong (9), Chirang (6), Biswanath (5), Bongaigaon (5), East Karbi Anglong (5), Sivasagar (9), Kokrajhar (4), Lakhimpur (28), Dhemaji (5), Baksa (3), Charaideo (11), Udalguri (3), Dibrugarh (4), Darrang (8), Barpeta (13) and South Salmara Mankachar (4).
So far Assam has reported total 798 COVID-19 cases.
