GUWAHATI: As announced earlier, the Assam government has initiated the process to create one lakh jobs for the youths in the state.
Finance minister Ajanta Neog said all the departments have been asked to give details of numbers of vacant posts within a week.
“Our aim is the job creation with a result. We have asked the departments to give details about their numbers of vacant posts within a week,” Neog said at a press meet in Guwahati.
On the other hand, education minister Dr Ranoj Pegu said a plan in the pipeline to form a recruitment board for his department.
