GUWAHATI, Nov 18: People of Jharkhand want the double-engine government of BJP and that the BJP will get a full majority in the State this time.
This was announced by Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on the concluding day of campaigning today as 38 constituencies get ready to vote in the second and final phase on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Sarma, who is BJP’s co-incharge for Jharkhand, said today that people believe in the pro-development policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision for a developed India and that they will dethrone the JMM from power this time.

Taking another swipe at JMM-led government for “patronising” infiltration, Sarma said infiltration has posed a major threat to Jharkhand’s society and culture and that the BJP will take strong steps to protect the rights of Indigenous people.
