GUWAHATI: Union Cabinet Minister for Education, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday informed about the new dates of the postponed JEE Main exams that were scheduled on April and May 2021.
The new exam dates are 20 July-25 July 2021(April Session) and 27 July-2 August(May Session).
The online application form submission for the April session is open from 6 July to 8 July. For the May session, the application submission dates are 9 July to 12 July.
On the other hand, the last date for payment of the Application fee is 8 July 2021(April session) and 12 July 2021(May session).
It is to be mentioned that the engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2021 is held twice a year and in four phases. However, owing to the pandemic situation, the April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 were postponed.

“The NTA is inviting Online Application for postponed April and May sessions(Session 3 and 4) of the JEE(Main)- 2021
“After recieving numerous representations from the candidates to re-open the Online Application window for JEE(Main)_2021 April Session, it has been decided to provide another oppurtunity to apply for/ withdraw from the remaining JEE(Main)-2021 Sessions.
The candidates are required to note that (postponed) April Seesion(Session 3) will be conducted only for Paper 1(B.E./B.Tech).
The candidates interested to appear in Pare 2A(B.A rch.) and/ or Paper 2B(B. PLanning) need to apply for the same papers only for (postponed) May Session(Session 4),” the official notification read.
