Israel resumed ground strikes in Gaza while issuing a “last warning” to Hamas to release all prisoners it is holding captive
GUWAHATI, March 20: Israel has resumed ground strikes in Gaza with reports claiming that over 70 people have been killed in the pre-dawn attacks launched by the IDF.
Among the 70 Palestinians killed during Thursday’s assault include a woman and children, Al Jazeera reported citing Gaza’s civil defence agency.
Gaza’s health ministry stated that since the renewed aggression from Israeli started on Tuesday, at least 436 people, including 183 children and 94 women, have been killed, while another 678 people have been wounded.
Israeli defence minister Katz addressed the residents of Gaza and stated that this was their “last warning” to return all hostages from the October 7, 2023 attack and to remove Hamas from their territory.
Hamas, meanwhile, said it will release the remaining hostages in exchange for a lasting ceasefire and a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
