Israel-Iran War: Israel Shares Video of Tehran Airstrikes on F-14 Jets, says Drone Attack Was Prevented

Israel-Iran War: A fresh wave of conflict has shaken the Middle East after Israel carried out airstrikes in Tehran, targeting Iran’s military infrastructure. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a video claiming they hit two F-14 fighter jets parked at an airport in Tehran. According to the IDF, these jets were planned to intercept Israeli aircraft.

But this wasn’t all. In a swift and serious move, the IDF said it also stopped a drone attack just minutes before it was about to happen. They reportedly spotted a launch team setting up UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) launchers and weapons, and acted immediately to destroy the threat. The operation was based on real-time intelligence tracking the launch team, which the IDF says helped them eliminate the danger just in time.

Meanwhile, visuals from southwest Tehran showed thick smoke after a massive explosion. The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building was hit, cutting off live coverage instantly. It marked a critical blow not just to infrastructure but also to Iran’s communication with its people and the world.

Tensions have been rising steadily between Israel and Iran, and this latest escalation has pushed the situation to a dangerous new level. Israel launched its strikes on Friday across several Iranian cities. These attacks reportedly killed senior military officers and nuclear scientists and also destroyed key infrastructure. One high-priority target was a nuclear enrichment facility around 18 miles from Qom city.

Iran did not stay silent. In retaliation, Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones towards Israel. This sudden and large-scale exchange of fire has increased fears of a full-blown war. Many Middle Eastern countries have reacted by closing airports and restricting airspace, fearing a wider regional conflict.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has now vowed to respond with force. In a strong message on state TV, he said Israel must not think this attack ends everything. “They started this and we will not let them get away with it,” he warned. Khamenei added that Iran will take revenge for the loss of its top military leaders and the destruction of nuclear assets.

Right now, both sides are on high alert. With increasing attacks and threats from both countries, people across the region are left anxious about what might come next. It’s a deeply worrying time for millions of families caught between two powerful forces preparing for what may become an even more dangerous fight.
