The Indian and West Indian teams arrived at the Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi International airport in Guwahati this afternoon ahead of Sunday’s (Oct 21) 1st ODI of the five-match series to be played at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.
The plane carrying the two teams landed in Guwahati around 1pm from where the players were taken to the hotel.
Incidentally, only Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with other support staff members, the umpires and other BCCI officials arrived in Guwahati today (Oct 17) while the rest of the team members, including skipper Virat Kohli, will arrive in separate flights tomorrow, Assam Cricket Association secretary Pradip Buragohain told News Live at the Radisson Blu hotel where the two teams were given a warm reception upon their arrival.

On the other hand, the entire West Indian team arrived today and is expected to take to the nets later in the evening. Incidentally, seven members of the visitors had arrived in Guwahati on Monday evening.
