Nahid Afrin, who won millions of hearts across the country while taking part in the musical reality show Indian Idol Junior where she emerged runners-up, came out in flying colours in the HSLC examinations 2018, results of which were declared today.
Nahid scored an aggregate of 91.5% (549 out of 600 marks) in the examination with letter marks in all six subjects. She appeared from Little Star High School, Biswanath Chariali.
“It’s very satisfying to do well in examinations. I am very happy with my results. I thank my parents, teachers and well-wishers for their help and support,” the teen singer said after the results were declared.
“She had really worked hard, balancing both singing and studies. I am very proud of her,” Nahid’s father said.
