GUWAHATI, Oct 12: A Kolkata model has come in for huge criticism for wearing a clevage-barring crop top to a Durga Puja pandal along with two other women who were also rather inappropriately dressed for the occasion.
Another model-influencer named Sannati Mitra who shared a photograph of the three models in her instagram account, also faced censure for also dressing inappropriately to the puja pandal.
Hemoshree Bhadra, who claims to be the Miss Kolkata 2016 title winner, was heavily trolled for her clevage-barring dress after Sannati shared a photograph of the three models in her instagram account.
“It was so Rebellious, we never thought it was possible, being a girl we always knew our body is ‘BAD’ but life is like that it gives new examples and experiences,” Sannati wrote on her Instagram handle.
Besides Hemoshree’s red clevage-barring outfit, the picture showed her two friends, one wearing a long black gown having a thigh-high slit and another wearing an orange V-cut top and a miniskirt-like outfit with knee-length black boots.
Sannati, too, faced criticism for uploading a picture of her wearing a white clevage-revealing sphagetti top and posing infront of the idol of Goddess Durga.
“It’s indecent, vulgar… Ashamed of you three!!” a social-media user wrote.
“Stop this type of vulgarity on puja mandap. This is shameful 😑,” an Instagram user wrote on the Sannati’s post.
“Shame… shame,” wrote another.
Many netizens said Kolkata Police or administration authorities should take action against the three models and Sannati for hurting religious sentiments.
