GUWAHATI: Assam cabinet chaired by chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday took several important decisions for the people of the state.
The decisions included employment of tea garden workers in MGNREGA, merging and renaming of Guwahati Development and Urban Development Departments as Housing and Urban Affairs Development.
The Secretariat Administration Department will be merged with General Administration Department.
