GUWAHATI: Assam Police recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition again in Bodoland Territorial Area District (BTAD). Udalguri Police on Sunday recovered one HK-33 Rifle, one M-16 Rifle, one AK-47 Rifle and ammunition in a search operation, near the Laxmi river at village Ghagra No-2 under Harisinga Police Station.
Earlier on Saturday, in two separate operations, police recovered arms and operation from Kokrajhar and Baksa district.
Baksa Police on Saturday recovered 2 AK Rifles, 2 Pistols (9 mm) and ammunition from Goreswar Police Station area and 1 AK 47 and ammunition from Simla Police Station area.
On the other hand, Kokrajhar Police recovered 1 AK Rifle and ammunition from an area which falls under Tipkai Outpost of Bagribari Police Station.
