After Bikash, an 8-year-old from Assam who got accidentally separated from his family a year ago, was reunited with his family on News Live chief managing editor Syed Zarir Hussain’s talk show ‘Prekhapat’, the social media was abuzz with activity as people from across Assam, in Gujarat and in other parts of the country and abroad hailed News Live’s initiative.
Bikash had landed up at a shelter home for children in Gujarat where he had been staying for a year. And after a BJP leader from Gujarat named Pradipsinh Vaghela shared visuals of the young boy with Assam Finance, Health and PWD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the latter taking up the issue with Syed Zarir Hussain, Bikash was reunited with his family during the live show.
The amazing reunion was also highlighted by Gujarat media houses.
