GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has wished speedy recovery of former president Pranab Mukherjee who is undergoing treatment at the The Army Research and Referral hospital in Delhi. The 84-year-old former president of India, who tested positive for Coronavirus, has been on ventilator support since a brain surgery on Monday.
Taking to Twitter, Sarma wrote, “I send my prayers and finest wishes for speedy recovery of former President of India and one of our leading lights – Shri Pranab Mukherjee. You are a man of enormous courage Sir and shall soon come out of this momentary ailment. I pray to God for your good health.”
