GUWAHATI: After Union Home Minister Amit Shah tested COVID-19 positive, Assam Health, Finance and Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has wished Shah’s speedy recovery.
Taking to Twitter, Sarma wrote, “My good wishes for your speedy recovery Adarniya @AmitShahji. With your resolute determination and strong will power you will soon come out of this.”

Shah has been admitted to the hospital following his test result. He took to social media today to inform about his infection. “I have tested positive but my health is fine,” he said, adding that he has been hospitalised on the advice of doctors. The Union Home Minister also appealed to those who came into close contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for COVID-19.
“I request those who came in contact with me in last few days to get tested for coronavirus and isolate themselves,” he wrote on Twitter.
