GUWAHATI: Wearing an Assamese ‘Gamocha’ around his neck, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took the first dose of Covaxin, India’s homegrown coronavirus vaccine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi.
Meanwhile, Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude to PM Modi for wearing the Gamocha while taking the first dose of vaccine.
