GUWAHATI: Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma reviewed the preparatory work of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-III) at a meeting held in Guwahati on Thursday. Several top officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) also attended the review meeting and apprised the minister on the progress of the ambitious scheme in Assam.
“Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has helped us a lot in connecting rural habitations with urban areas & hence helped them with basic facilities like education, health etc,” Dr. Sarma said in a tweet.
