GUWAHATI: North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor and Assam cabinet minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma was accorded a grand welcome when he arrived at Manas Serfang in Chirang district under Bodoland Territorial Region.
He also took part in a bike rally.
Along with Sarma, BJP national general secretary Dilip Saikia and state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass attended the public meeting in support of BJP candidates for the Bodoland Territorial Counci (BTC) elections.
The minister will also address public meetings at Khaling Duar in Darrang and Goreswar in Baksa.
