GUWAHATI: As a part of the mass testing initiative of the government of Assam, a series of door-to-door COVID-19 tests was conducted in ward number 2 of Pandu area in Guwahati on Tuesday. Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma personally monitored the procedure of testing in the area.
Sarma alos convinced the people to not panic and cooperate with the authorities in COVID-19 testing.
Under the door-to-door initiative which is the first of its kind in Assam, the health department has been aiming at a target of 3 thousand tests in two days in ward number 2 of the city .
