GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma had a video conference with deputy commissioners (DC), superintendents of police (SP) along with additional director general of police (ADGP) for law and order GP Singh on Thursday night. Principal secretary to the health and family welfare department Samir Sinha also participated in the conference.
The minister discussed the new standard operating procedure (SOP) and advised the police and administration to ensure strict vigil on the people those who are observing home quarantine. He also asked to form local committees for community surveillance.
