Himanta Biswa Sarma condemns “PAKISTAN ZINDABAD” slogan in Assam

Guwahati: While reactions are pouring in from different quarters on “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans in Silchar, Assam during the arrival of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief and MP Badaruddin Ajmal, Assam Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also condemned the entire incident.

Taking to his twitter Dr. Sarma said, “Look at the brazenness of these fundamentalists anti-national people who are shouting PAKISTAN ZINDABAD while they welcome MP @BadruddinAjmal. This thoroughly exposes @INCIndia which is encouraging such forces by forging an alliance. We shall fight them tooth & nail. Jai Hind.”

Earlier, on Friday morning a video went viral where some people were seen raising “Pakistan Zindabad” slogan in Silchar Airport, Assam while welcoming All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief and MP Badaruddin Ajmal for election rallies.

Badaruddin Ajmal is in Silchar for a four-day-long visit for the upcoming election campaign.  

Ajmal while campaining in Silchar said that he is ascertain of winning 12 seats in Barak Valley.
