GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed landslide victory in Jalukbari constituency for the 5th consecutive term. Sarma defeated Romen Borthakur of Congress with a huge margin of 1,01,911 votes.
