GUWAHATI: North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor and Assam health, finance, education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has been campaigning for bypolls to four assembly constituencies in Manipur which would be voting on November 7.
On Tuesday, minister Sarma addressed a rally for BJP candidate Oinam Lukhoi in Wangoi constituency. Along with Sarma, Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh was also present in the election rally which witnessed a huge turnout of the supporters.
“In Manipur it is gratifying to see outpouring of support for #BJP candidate Sri Oinam Lukhoi in Wangoi constituency. Addressed a rally along with Hon CM @NBirenSingh. People express their unwavering faith in PM Sri @narendramodi and his vision.” Dr. Sarma said in a tweet.
