Highlander Brigade highlights Northeast India’s rich football heritage through graffiti

GUWAHATI: The much-awaited seventh season of the Indian Super League (ISL) is finally here with football fans across the country anticipating the top football league. But this year, the Covid pandemic has affected most sporting actions across the globe to be put on hold.

However, with slight relaxations, some events have resumed, the 7th season of the ISL will be held behind closed doors at 3 selected Stadiums in Goa.

In the Northeast, the Highlander Brigade which is the official fan group of Northeast United FC the ISL club representing Northeast, members of the fan club have decorated specific sites across the region with graffiti highlighting the rich football culture and heritage of the region.
