Guwahati: Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been a huge miss for the Indian cricket in the recent times. It is because he has been suffering from a back issue. And the back injury is not getting any better with time.
Hence, his performance has also gone on to drop in the white-ball cricket. Hardik Pandya was largely invisible with his performances. And as a result of that, even Mumbai Indians have gone on to release him.
However, according to some reports, Hardik Pandya could be making a big decision soon. He will be taking a call on his test career and it is expected that he will decide to retire from the longest format to improve his fitness.
A BCCI official said, “He has been struggling with injuries for a while and although he hasn’t informed us officially, he is considering Test retirement. It will help him keep his focus on white-ball cricket.”
