Guwahati: Shaan, undoubtedly one of the iconic playback singers, has completed over 25 years in the music industry.
Shantanu Mukherjee, known as Shaan, was born on September 30, 1972, in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh in a Bengali family. His grandfather was Jahar Mukherjee, a well-known lyricist and his father late Manas Mukherjee, was a music director.
Eventually, he started getting a lot of opportunities in music and successfully the singer managed to make a place for himself in the industry. Over the years, Shaan has also worked as an actor, reality show judge and television presenter.
