GUWAHATI: As it has come into light that an American tourist detected with Coronavirus stayed in Radisson Blu hotel in Guwahati, the entire floor where the US citizen stayed has been sealed off by the hotel.
According to the hotel authority, the US citizen along with his travel partner stayed in Room number 224 on the second floor.
“The room along with the entire floor has been sealed off,” said an official of Radisson Blu.
“They stayed here for less than 20 hours. They came in the afternoon on March 1 and left the hotel in the early morning on March 2,” he added.
On the other hand, 23 employees of the hotel who came into contact with the US tourist have been kept in isolation and under observation.
“We have been following all the protocol and directives given by the health department of the Government of Assam,” the official claimed.
