GUWAHATI: Two children aged 3 and 8 years reportedly died in a fire incident near Wireless, Guwahati. The fire took place at house number 2 in bye-lane number 1, Basisthapur, Guwahati on Thursday.
According to Assam Police sources, a cylinder blast might be the cause of fire resulting in the death of the children. The kids, Ishan Goswami was a student of Srimanta Sankardev Academy and Ivan Goswami was a student of Holy Home School, Guwahati.
Meanwhile, the deceased have been taken to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
