GUWAHATI: One woman died on the spot after the vehicle she was travelling hit a tree on the national highway on Tuesday. The driver of the car and one more lady has been seriously injured in the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Padumi Das from Raha, Nagaon. The car was on its way from Raha to Guwahati. The injured have been admitted in the Sonapur District Hospital.
“At around 3:30 PM in the afternoon a vehicle coming from Raha met with an accident after the car hit a tree. There were three people in the car, two ladies and a male,” said an official in the hospital.
