GUWAHATI: A speeding water tanker truck (AS-01Q-0041) rammed into a roadside house on Mother Teresa road in Matgharia area on Wednesday morning. The boundary wall of the house and an auto van were damaged in the incident.
However, no casualty has been reported.
According to reports the handyman was driving the water tanker in an intoxicated state. The handyman has been identified as Rahul Mizar and the other person present in the truck was Abinash Kalita. The Noonmati Police rushed to the spot and took the two for questioning.
