GUWAHATI, Oct 28: Thieves in Guwahati have struck again, this time at a Shiva Temple located at Zoo Road, and decamped with cash and valuables.
Thieves broke into the temple in the wee hours of Monday and broke open the donation box and took away cash, estimated to be around Rs 25,000, along with some other valuables.
The thieves, after entering the temple, locked the two rooms where the priests and other members lived, before carrying out the theft.
Police were informed after the theft came to light in the morning.
Although a probe has been launched, the thieves are still out at large although the investigating team is optimistic of nabbing the culprits very soon.
