GUWAHATI, Oct 12: The Guwahati ropeway service ferrying commuters from Guwahati to North Guwahati across the river Brahmaputra will remain closed for 10 days from Oct 15, a release issued by the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) stated.
The decision to suspensd operations has been taken with a view to carry out an annual maintenance of the service.
Normal services, the release mentioned, will resume from Oct 25.
