GUWAHATI: The ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati have been resumed from Monday.
The authorities have resumed the ferry services as the water level of the Brahmaputra river is receeding.
All travellers are asked to wear face mask and maintain social distance.

“We were visiting office by road but now the ferry service has been resumed, it will be easier for us to reach Guwahati. Government has resumed the ferry services amid COVID-19 fear so everyone should follow the rules and regulations issued by government to stop the spread of Coronavirus”, said a passenger.
It is to be mentioned that the ferry services were shut since 22 June 2020.
