Guwahati-North Guwahati evening ferry services suspended ~ Evening ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati have been suspended from today (June 27) due to the presence of floating wooden logs and strong river currents, Inland Water Transport Division, Guwahati, stated in a statement.
“The last departure from the Guwahati side will be restricted to 6:00 PM,” the IWT statement stated.
“This decision has been taken in the interest of safety of public lives and properties,” the statement further stated.
