Guwahati: Mobile phones, laptops on display at Police Commissioner’s office for rightful owners to claim

In a significant recovery effort, the Guwahati police has put on display a large number of stolen mobile phone handsets and laptops that were recovered during different operations but remain unclaimed, for the public on Friday.

The city police is displaying the unclaimed mobile phones and laptops today from 11 am onwards at the office campus of the Commissioner of Police, Guwahati, located in Pan Bazar.

Persons having lost similar items recently could visit the Commissioner’s office to claim their gadgets by identifying and producing ownership proof, it added.

For further details, individuals can contact the Commissioner of Police, Guwahati. This initiative aims to reunite as many people as possible with their lost belongings.

Majority of these items have been recovered under the jurisdiction of the city’s Paltan Bazar police station, under Panbazar police station, Latasil PS , Noonmati PS, Chandmari PS, Pragjyotishpur PS, Ambaari Fatasil PS, Geetanagar PS and Dispur PS.
