GUWAHATI: Amid incessant rains in Assam, a devastating landslide took place at Kahilipara in Guwahati on Friday morning. Two persons have been injured in the incident. On the other hand, one person has been feared trapped in the landslide. The man has been identified as one Bharat Kalita.
Meanwhile, police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team have been carrying out operation to rescue the man.
“The man trapped in the landslide is a tenant,” said a local woman.
“It took place around 7 AM in the morning,” said another local resident.
The injured family members have been admitted to hospital.
